Clinical presentation:
6 year old male, for assessment of urinary tract infection. IVU post-micturition view.

The colon is faeces-loaded, not unknown in normals of this age. There is a normal appearance of kidneys, pelvicalyceal systems and ureters. The bladder remains large volume. The view shows an immature skeleton. The vertebral canal appears narrowed in the lower lumbar region. The ilia are shorter than usual. The proximal femoral metaphyses appear normal.
