Clinical presentation:
Pedestrian hit by moving vehicle.

There is depression and fragmentation of the front of the medial condyle of the tibia. The head of fibula is fragmented with separation of a large lateral fragment that includes a length of the lateral cortex of fibula and the tip of the head, the attachment of the lateral ligament of the knee and the biceps femoris tendon. The femoral condyles appear intact.
