Clinical presentation:
Mature adult female with history of right ankle trauma 6 weeks earlier.

The contour of the trochlea of the talus is no longer a smooth arc. There is a well corticated bone fragment that lies in a depression in the apex of the curve of the trochlear surface of the talus. The fibular malleolus is projected over this area, but appears intact.
