Clinical presentation:
A Middle-aged woman with chest discomfort and previous treatment for Ca Breast.
The right lung volume is less than the left. The ribs on the right side are crowded in the upper zone and are of varying density. The posterior border of the right 5th rib is sclerotic, narrowed centrally and is not visible laterally until the right axilla where angularity and deformity are seen. There are fractures of the posterior part and the anterior end of the right 6th rib. There is some patchy calcification over the ribs in the right axilla. There is probably a subtle fracture of the right 3rd rib in the axilla. There has been a Mastectomy on the Right side. Despite the loss of overlying soft tissue, the right lung shadowing still apears denser than the left and it has a coarse poorly defined linear pattern. There seems to loss of left lower lobe volume with dilated bronchi above.
