Clinical presentation:
Adult female with dentures, orthopaedic follow-up.

There is bowing of the diaphyses of radius and ulna. The bone density is generally reduced. The carpal bones are displaced. The scaphoid is relatively sclerotic and fragmented and the lunate has lost its usual crescentic outline. There is interruption of the cortical line in the distal radial metaphysis that marks the carpo-radial joint space, suggesting a fracture of the styloid process of the radius.
