Clinical presentation:
Recent immigrant from south India with a stiff back and bad teeth.

There is a widespread patchy increase in bone density with ossification of capular ligament insertions of hip and intervertebral joints, but particularly of the sacro-iliac joints. There is some ossification of the right sacro-spinous ligament (ischial spine) and of an extension of the left ilio-lumbar ligament.
