G. Simon collection of Cases in Cardio-thoracic Radiology

The files are fairly long and reference at least 30 in-line images, size of each =7K. George Simon wrote the original lecture-notes for a slide-collection. Although no changes to the text have been made, I have split the congenital defects file to make it easier to load sub-topics from that file. I don't think that this will alter the presentation much from its original form. Please respect the work done in the preparation of the images and existing rights over them.

The individual cases have also been reformatted so as to present them in the relevant Museum sections.
Topics in the George Simon Cardiothoracic Case Collection.
The file 'Congenital defects' is sub-divided into these files.
Transposition of the Great Arteries ( 27K )
Hypoplasia and atresia ( 9K )
Atresias ( 10K )
Some common shunt situations. ( 10K )
APVD Anomalous pulmonary venous drainage ( 8K )
Corrected transposition and fallot situations ( 4K )
Miscellaneous ( 10K )

The cases in this collection can also be accessed via their ACR codes. The cases have been incorporated into the Museum Case-list and a differential image-list added. The descriptive wording has been altered to permit this format of the cases to be read as unknowns.

There is an alternative way of looking at the hilar anatomy. Click on an active chest image to see the appropriate lateral hilar tomogram from the GS collection.
